Today I would like to share with you these cute cards which feature the June Stamp of the Month : Ice Cream Dream.
I made the ice creams on these cards really 'pop' by stamping the coloured cardstock with its matching pigment ink and then embossing it with clear embossing powder. Each piece was then cut out (thank goodness for my microtip scissors!) and the ice cream assembled on top of the cone. I've topped my ice creams off with a purple glitter gem.
The colours I have used are as follows from bottom to top:
Honey cardstock with Autumn terracotta pigment ink and clear embossing powder
Sorbet cardstock with sorbet pigment ink and clear embossing powder
White Daisy cardstock with versa mark ink and clear embossing powder
Pixie cardstock with pixie pigment ink and clear embossing powder
Thistle cardstock with thistle pigment ink and clear embossing powder
I used the blossom papers paired with lagoon cardstock for the background and I used the very cool carnival washi tape to do the sentiments and the stripe across the bottom. The sentiments were placed onto white daisy cardstock and then cut out before being placed on the cards.
Ice Cream Dream is only available until the end of June from your CTMH consultant for $27 or just $5 with a qualifying purchase.
I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop, Lauren's blog - CTMH Craftings.
